  • Aleve -  internal bleeding, stomach ulcers, kidney failure
  • Tylenol - damage to red blood cells, liver damage
  • Xanax - dangerous drop in blood pressure, collapse

Allergic Reactions To Antibiotics

Allergic reactions can occur and depend on the type of antibiotic taken, as well as its dosage. Most of the time, the symptoms of allergic reactions occur within 24 hours, but they often last for a few hours after treatment is sought. The common reactions include breathing difficulty, painful rashes, itchiness, coughing, nausea, inability to eat, and swelling. In severe cases of allergic reactions, dogs can experience anaphylactic shock, which requires immediate medical attention.

EPINEPHRINE is usually administered intramuscular/subcutaneously

Anti-Parasitics

Oil of Oregano    (Giardia, Staph, Lyme, yeast overgrowth, E coli, ring worm, valley fever, cancer, ear infection, fungal)    antibiotic/antibacterial/antioxidant/antiparasitic

Safe for pregnant/nursing, however, some mamas will not clean pups' bottoms anymore after pups are started on it.

1 drop (diluted with 4-8 drops olive or coconut oil) 2-3 times daily can be given in food, via dropper, or in water. Can be continued for long periods. I have found starting at 3 weeks old and continuing until pups leave prevents Giardia/cocci in high-risk areas.

At first dog/puppy will not like it, but after a few doses, they come to like it, so be mindful if you put it in food/water that they are not going without food for the first bit.

I found giving a drop or two of Dyne before putting the oil in a young pups mouth helps avoid gagging.
